Social Media Ministry: What Does My Day Look Like?

Last month I described some things that I have earned through social media ministry. When it comes to ministry, this exists completely "outside the box" and has challenged me in a wonderful and unique way. So what do I love about this ministry? And what does a typical day look like for me?

What I love the most about this type of ministry is that it taps into my creative side. The sky is the limit! I keep my spiritual mind open. Also, I can work as I am physically able. Because of sickness, my days vary. When I am feeling well, my typical days include:

- Writing: I am writing a book, as well as a monthly sermon and posts.

- Planning: I am always praying for the next study and next monthly topics, pulling information.

- Studying: I read the Word daily.

- Reading: I read other resources.

- Posting: I do this for 3 FB group pages, as well as my main ministry page.

- Recording video or audio

- Texting, calling, or sending private messages to members

Since I am working a lot with Christians who are in distress, I have started courses to become a Certified Mental Health Coach. This certification will be through the American Association of Christian Counselors. This will go together well with my nursing background and being a pastor to an online population.

March Is Coming!

The most exciting news for March is the 2023 Spring Summit. This is something that I felt inspired to do after fasting and praying at the beginning of the year. There will be 9 Christian speakers, music, and giveaways. This Facebook event will be FREE! Join Steady Course Ministries as we kick off the spring season!

Also included for this month are 3 themes and activities that can be used. Enjoy the recipe for Irish soda bread. I always make it in March...with honey butter, of course!
