At the beginning of this year, God gave me a word: INTENTIONAL!

God impressed upon my soul to be intentional. This word means: done on purpose; deliberate. It means that you make a plan to do things or be a certain way and you carry it out. I had to be intentional with my relationships this year. Some have gotten better, others have not. This has led me to be intentional with my words and prayer. It has also led me to create some healthy boundaries. I have had to be intentional with ministry. With this in mind, let's take a look at what God has inspired me to do, as well as the things that I am committing to do in 2023.
3 Things God Inspired in 2022
One more wonderful year in the books. I pray that I pleased the Lord above all!
I received my state ministry licensure through Steady Course Ministries as Pastor of this online ministry. I am so blessed to serve. This was not what I expected when He called me, but here am I, Lord!
My ministry shifted as I started to blog: more writing, less speaking. This is okay, since my disease often limits my ability to talk. I will continue on...take that devil!
I have had many "God moments" where I have met people who are suffering and I have handed out many ministry cards. My online ministries have grown, but I stopped counting numbers long ago. Online ministry has unlimited possibilities and reaches unlimited people! I love it!
I was intentional about keeping a firm foundation. One of the songs that I used to encourage myself this year:
3 Things I Commit To Do In 2023
There is something about making a declaration that creates accountability. I learned many years ago in ministry to do this. I will...by this date...and I recommend that you do this too. Don't beat yourself up if you miss a date or if things happen, This is life. But making a declaration of your "intentions" can push and motivate you. Now the whole world knows...I need to get busy. Here are the things that I commit to do in 2023:
I commit to start writing my blog every other week, This will flex my writing muscles.
I commit to write my book like it is a job (minus my sick days, of course). I am my own boss...however, I will work at it as unto the Lord!
I commit to keep building the other parts of my ministry. For example, I am creating a website for Steady Course Ministries,
Check out what is happening in my Facebook group pages for the month of January...
I'm excited to find out what new word God is going to give me in 2023. How about you? Does God give you a word each year? Comment below. Please share this blog and encourage friends and family to subscribe.
